Virginia Beach sport fishing attracts many thousands of anglers to Virginia Beach and Rudee Inlet every year to experience what some say is the best sport fishing on the Mid-Atlantic Coast. Including the world famous Chesapeake Bay, Virginia Beach is nearly surrounded by fertile fishing grounds which makes the region one of the top sport fishing vacation destinations on the Atlantic Coast. Anglers fishing in Virginia Beach also enjoy the fun and exciting tourist areas along the boardwalk and Atlantic Avenue which makes a Virginia Beach fishing trip or vacation perfect for the entire family including the kids.

Virginia Beach striper fishing season opens up in late fall and continues into the winter months and the striper aka rockfish become the target catch for just about all of the Va Beach charter boats. Striper fishing in Virginia Beach becomes all the talk among area anglers around October or so. With quite a few striper tournaments every year and a couple recent state record striper being caught the VB striper fishing gets all the talk and attention. When you charter the “Net Profits” for a striper fishing trip you can expect Captain Lee to go above and beyond to put your crew on a trophy sized Va Beach striper.

•	Blue Marlin
•	White Marlin
•	Yellowfin Tuna

As the weather begins to get colder and most people are back to school and work, one of the biggest fishing seasons is just beginning to kick off in Virginia Beach. Known to many as the “Rockfishing Capital,” Virginia Beach offers an awesome winter time fishing season. Rockfish, also known as Stripers or Striped Bass, are an extremely fun fish to catch and delicious to eat. This type of fishing gives both the novice or the seasoned fisherman a sportfishing trip they won’t forget.
Our boats are top of the line and custom built based on certain criteria, including size, speed and amenities of the boat, as well as the Captain and mates experience and reputation. Our boats have indoor cabins with both AC and heating to make the experience more enjoyable. All of our Captains are very seasoned and familiar with the area.
Seasons
Rockfish season in Virginia Beach begins October 4th and runs through March 31st, then re-opens May 16th. There are two different seasons in Virginia Beach- the Coastal season and the Chesapeake Bay season.
The Chesapeake Bay season
Time: October 4th-December 31st
Possession limits: 2 fish per person, with one fish being between 18 and 28 inches and
the other fish over 32 inches.
The Coastal season
Time: January 1st and runs through March 31st, then re-opens
May 16th through December 31st.
Possession limit: 2 fish per person, both fish have to be over 28 inches.
Best Time To Fish
Between December and February, although often times the end of November can be really good, as well as in past years it has not been uncommon for the fishing to remain RED HOT until the middle or end of March.
